Welcome!

Welcome to the Orkila International site! The Orkila International Program provides a multicultural leadership experience to high school students abroad. Teens and staff will take on leadership and counseling roles with young people in an overnight YMCA camp and build relationships with teens in YMCA social programs in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

From July 10 - 25, 2016, a group of teens from Orkila will have the opportunity to participate in a two-week cultural exchange in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a YMCA overnight camp in the surrounding area. 


TRIP DATES
March 24 (6-9 PM): Family Information Day (Downtown Seattle)
June 4-5: Orkila International Retreat (Camp Orkila)
July 10 - 25: Trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil


COST
The cost of the program includes transportation (including air fare), accommodation, meals, and yearly programming (including a trip to Camp Orkila). It does not include spending money.

For teens who participate in another 2-week or longer Leadership Program at Orkila during the Summer 2016:

Tier I/Tier II/Tier III
$2,500/$3,500/$4,500

*$100 deposit due with registration.  The deposit is refundable or transferable to another program if not accepted.

*50% of program fee is due by March 10th.  100% of program fee is due by April 15th.

Applicants
1. Please fill out the questionnaire.  We will get back to you within 10 days to set up a 20 minute phone interview.  If not selected for the program, deposit is fully refundable or transferable to a different Camp Orkila Program for summer 2016.

To Attend
